REFLECTION
Experience
This module has probably been the most interesting and beneficial to me throughout my two years at Taylor's. Not to say other modules were not interesting or beneficial, CBS has just been the most of all because not only did I learn more about branding but I learnt more about myself as I went through this module. It was also a little bit of an emotional roller coaster ride of course, but it's safe to say I regret nothing of what I did. I only regret not being able to do more as I had to leave out a few touchpoints at the end due to time constraints.
Observations
I learnt more about myself as a person and a designer from this module. I learnt that I love coming up with plannings and story telling but I can kind of get lazy or stuck on trying to implement it into my designs, which is obviously a huge downside since I am a designer. However, plus point, I learnt how to better manage my creative block (or laziness) and to not give up so easily.
Findings
I realised that similar to BCI and Adv Typography, I enjoy playing with bold vibrant colours and make everything as loud as I possibly can. I love working with simple shapes (and that may or may not be due to my own laziness) and using them with text to make things interesting. In other words, I like the simple stuff, just in a loud manner. It was also interesting to watch myself go through this module and juggle it along with my freelance work and extracurricular and still keep up with everything somehow. It's nice to see how my time management has improved and put to good use with coming up with work I am truly proud of.
